For months on end, I cooked and cooked. Every night, I experimented with recipes, tried new ingredients, and flung in spices with wild abandon. After a time, I realized I was doing more than just cooking (and taking photographs of the food).
Incrementally, I was creating a cookbook, a stable of recipes based on seasonality,
local foods, fresh tastes, and the most vibrant sensations I could find. Not every recipe sings. Most of them do, adding their voices to the choir of gluten-free goodness. Try some. See what you think. Let me know.
Every recipe here is gluten-free. They could be adapted fairly easily to accomodate other food allergies. The first priority in these recipes, however, is the glorious dance of food. These will have your toes tapping.
